What is Combo InstaGib?

Combo InstaGib is the fun version of InstaGib DM. The shock rifle can fire both the primary laser and the secondary shock ball. When a shock ball gets hit by a shock laser it explodes with a large shock wave commonly refered to as the combo move. When two shock balls collide or a shock ball is hit by a combo shock wave it explodes with a smaller shock wave.
To play Combo InstaGib just use the mutator with that name.

Installation

UMOD version

Just open the UMOD file and the UT setup program should start.
If this doesn't work, you may need to download the UMOD fix or re-install Unreal Tournament.

non-UMOD version

The non-UMOD version's ZIP file contains directory information, so you only need to unzip the files to your UT directory.
If you want to host multiplayer games you also have to add the following lines to the [Engine.GameEngine] section of UnrealTournament.ini:

ServerPackages=EnhancedItems
ServerPackages=EIConfigWindow
ServerPackages=ComboInstaGib

Configuration

Combo InstaGib is configured from the common configuration window for my mods.
Mod -> Configure Wormbo's Mods -> Combo InstaGib

• Turn off combo move damage
  Turns off any splash damage. You can still use the combos to push around players.
  (Try shock ball jumps or even shock combo jumps.)
• Allow combo chain reactions
  When this is enabled not only the primary fire but also combo shock waves can cause shock combos.
• Allow small combos
  When this is enabled two colliding shock balls can explode with a smaller shock wave than the regular combo move.
• Penetrating Beam
  The primary fire beam can penetrate players and shock balls. This allows one-shot multikills and multiple combos.
• Random Colors
  Usually the shots will have the color of your team (or cyan when you selected no team). When this option is activated the color of your shots is selected randomly when you respawn.
