Defender - Assault tactics mod - dave@unrealize.co.uk for info/bugs
Version 1.0
Release date - 20 Nov 2006

This mod has 2 modes:
It can be simply a viewer for team members, or it can be a viewer/editor
for team/squad leaders, who can then distribute the Defender.ini to
team mates.

There is setting in the Defender.ini to swap modes:

Editable=true/false

That should stop boons messing up their tactics file :p
That's probably the only time you will need to touch the ini (hopefully!)

Usage:

Open Defender from the mod menu and if there are tactics for the current
map it will display them. Select position from drop down box.
The refresh button should update the info if the map has changed while
Defender is running and it hasn't recognised the map properly.

Editing:

Ok, this is where it gets a little tricky ;)

Basically you need to start off by setting the map you want to write
tactics for. There are 2 ways to do this: you can type in the map name
in the box and press [Enter], or load up the map in UT and press the
'Get Current' button.
If you type the name in it must be exact - i.e. if the map name has symbols
or non a-z characters (like Riverbed]|[AL) then you must type those symbols
and characters.
It doesn't matter whether the case is correct, but characters do matter.

After (hopefully) getting the map sorted, start at position 1 from the drop
down box and type in the tactics in the form.

After typing position 1 objectives you can press 'copy' and the objectives
will be copied over to positions 2 - 6.

After finishing each position you MUST save it BEFORE changing to the next
position. Click the save button.

The 'Gnereral' box will appear in all positions.

The clear button will clear the form, but it doesn't affect the saved info
so you must save after clear if you want to permanently delete a position.

To see your handywork in action, load up the map you are editing. Then you
can use the 'Update' button on the first page to see how things look as
you edit.

*Note: you must save map first to use the update button.

*Note: The update button and editing page only appear if 'Editable=true' in
Defender.ini

HTML:

Defender displays html which is fine but there are limits to what UT will
display correctly.
To get some examples load up as-rook and run Defender. There are some
examples of bold, coloured, underlined and headed text. The edit page shows
the code.

Bugs:

Dunno but I bet there's some lurking :)

Well that's about it so gl and hf.
