Author's Notes
--------------
This map appeared with the game Marathon II: Durandal by Bungie Software.  it
was a remake of the map Thunderdome from the original Marathon.  To get to
the amplifier, the superhealth, or the sniper rifle you will need to learn to
lift jump, altough you waste a bit of time doing it.
This map implements true (Marathon-style) king of the hill with the help of
Gor Gor's cool KOTH mod.  True king of the hill is scored by time on the hill
area - not frags.  You will see a timer display on the left edge of your
screen.  Whenever you are on the hill the numbers will turn red and begin to
accumulate time.  The scoreboard is ordered by time on the hill, although
frags are shown also.  Depending on how the server is set up, the game will
end when the max time is reached, the max hill time is reached, or the frag
limit is reached.  See KOTH.txt for info on how to setup a KOTH server and

On this map the hill is the lava area in the center.  When you are on it your
numbers will turn red and you will, too.
To play the signature sound shoot at the ceiling above the arena.

--- Frogblast: The Ventcore Project ---
Hobeax at unrealengine.com started this initiative to revive Marathon maps in
Unreal with DmDuality and then his awesome DMRoute66.  Being a Marathon
fanatic myself I have signed on and begun converting Marathon maps as well.
Although the Marathon engine is showing its age, those guys at Bungie (and
later Double Aught) knew how to map - the net play on these old maps is still
incredible with Unreal.

--- What Is "Frogblast The Ventcore"? ---
Bungie Software's original Marathon game their were human civilians who
basically ran around and got in the way.  However as part of the plot of the
game some of the civilians were captured by the aliens and 'assimilated'.
that is, they were converted into kamikazes who would run at you and explode
when they got close.  By the time of Marathon II: Durandal these assimilated
humans could actually speak a few phrases such as, "Don't shoot!", "I'm out
of ammo!", "I love you man!", and the immortal "Frogblast the ventcore!"
